Bittersweet Bitter Melon Recipeð Bitter gourd

Bittersweet Bitter Melon Recipeð Bitter gourd or Bitter melon is one of my favorite vegetable. My mom makes the most delicious bitter melon side dish. This recipe is my version thatâs inspired by her recipe. 1ï¸â£Thinly chop the bitter melon and add some salt and soak it for about 30 minutes - This helps to reduce the bitterness 2ï¸â£ Add oil in a pan, mustard seeds, 3-4 fenugreek seeds, onions and tomatoes 3ï¸â£ Once the tomatoes and onions are cooked add 1/2tsp of turmeric powder and 1 1/2 tsp of chili powder. 4ï¸â£ In the meantime, squeeze the water thatâs released from the bitter melon- add the bitter melon to the pan and mix well. 5ï¸â£ Cover the pan and cook well. I like it a little more fried. 6ï¸â£ Once itâs cooked add a little sugar and salt ( because we added salt while soaking please check before adding more) This is a very simple, easy recipe requires very few ingredients. Masala Bread Upma ð¤ A quick breakfast recipe. A twist to the regular bread with some Indian spices. You can use old or new bread and both would taste delicious. Recipe :-
1ï¸â£ Roughly chop the bread-6-7 slices

3ï¸â£ Chana Dal- 1/2tsp
4ï¸â£ Urad Dal -1/2 tsp
